Enrollment

If you are interested in enrolling for the current school year, please send an email to optinfo@psdschools.org, with your name, phone number, and the grade level(s) for your student(s). You will receive an email letting you know if there is space available and what the next steps are.

If you are interested in enrolling for the upcoming/next school year, please look at the timeline below to learn more. Please note that current PSD Options students grades K-7 are automatically enrolled in the upcoming school year, and we need an email from a parent/guardian letting us know that they will not be returning and a note about what they will be doing instead (another enrichment program, attending a full-time school, etc), so we can “exit” them correctly.

  • Starting Mid-March: The Enrollment Interest Form becomes available. This form is for the upcoming/next school year. The responses to this form are checked a few times each week and the registrar will send those who have completed it an informative email about what steps to take next.
  • May: The course schedule is finalized, and families that have completed enrollment may begin selecting classes for their students (grades 3-8).
  • August: Our Registrar and Health Technician will send an email with important information about completing the following items:
    • Data Verification
    • Student Rights & Code of Conduct
    • Immunization records and/or non-Medical Immunization Exemption Certificates
    • Health Conditions
    • The Curriculum Swap
  • Also in August: the first day of classes!

Important Notes

Please note that Kindergarten students must be 5 years old and first graders must be 6 years old on or before October 1 to register for school. All new students must include a copy of their immunization record and their birth certificate as part of the enrollment process.

Should you have further questions, please contact the Front Office at 970.488.4600.
