Requesting Courses
-
Grades K-2: Students are enrolled in classes based upon their grade level, so parents do not need to complete the course request form. Depending on the number of students that are enrolled at PSD Options, students may be in a classroom with grade-level peers or with a mixture of students in grades K-2. Note: Kindergartners must be 5 years old on or before October 1.
-
Grades 3-8: Students and parents complete a course request form to indicate a first, second, and third choice preference for each class period of the day. We then build schedules for students and make every effort to place students in their first or second choices for each period of the day. Many classes are multi-grade level with typical grade ranges like 3rd-5th grade or 6th-8th grade so that we can offer more flexibility and choice to students.
