I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Options team! With nearly 30 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Literacy, my passion has always been fostering a love for learning and discovery in young students. My career began in New Jersey, where I spent 10 wonderful years teaching across kindergarten through fifth grade. After relocating to Fort Collins in 2007, I continued my journey in early childhood education by teaching kindergarten at Olander Elementary. Following the birth of my son, I transitioned into a kindergarten job-share position at Riffenburgh Elementary.
Outside of the classroom, I love spending quality time with my family, especially playing board games or boating on Horsetooth Reservoir. At home, you can usually find me listening to a great audiobook or podcast, completing jigsaw and crossword puzzles (usually at the same time), or hanging out with our lively crew of two dogs and a cat. I look forward to partnering with your families to create a meaningful, joyful year for our students!
